16th March 2011 (9th day of the trip)

Half day! Today was a short school day as we were given some free time to relax after days of mugging for APPG. At the same time, by giving us some free time, we managed to research on our IS topics e.g. Transportation, Architecture and so on...

The last time we went to 滨江道, we only managed to walk half of the street as it was really long! This time round, we took the tram from the start all the way to the end of the street and started walking back. There are a lot of things we experience over there, for example, how friendly can local shopkeepers be. The shopkeeper would ask where are you from and keep a smile on their face even when your give a low price for the item you want to buy.

This kind of service attitude is really commendable! I really admire this kind of service as it not only makes the customer feel comfortable spending money there, it also puts a smile on my face in this case. Even thought the culture makes the locals appear aggressive, they are really nice and friendly people. Totally not how people stereotype them to be.
